The Figure 6 irreversible compression ground tap can function both as a tap connector and a tap splice connector. Utilizing four die sets and eight connectors, it can handle conductor ranges from #8 solid to 500 kcmil. Additionally, it's compatible with 1/2", 5/8", and 3/4" copper bonded ground rods, as well as rebars.
