Category 7 Cable | cat7 ethernet cable 250 ft yellow
Category 7 ethernet cable is the most recent of the standards, and it has some advantages over earlier versions. First, Category 7 can transmit up to 1000 MHz rather than just 250 MHz or 500 MHz. Second, it can be terminated with either GG-45 or TERA connectors which will work on both Cat5e and Cat6 cables. Finally, there are four twisted copper wire pairs for better performance!
Our Sigma7 cat7 ethernet cable contains four twisted copper wire pairs, just like the earlier standards. Category 7 cable can be terminated either with 8P8C compatible GG45 electrical connectors which incorporate the 8P8C standard or with TERA connectors. When combined with GG-45 or TERA connectors, Category 7 cable is rated for transmission frequencies of up to 1000 MHz.
